National Secretariat for Elders (NSE)
Elders' homes register with the NSE under the Protection of the Rights of Elders Act.
Provincial Social Services
Provincial departments of social services also register and inspect elders' homes in their province.
PHSRC
Homes providing nursing or medical care may be registered with the Private Health Services Regulatory Council as a private medical institution.
